YOUR QUESTION IS: WHY DONATE TO THIS BLOG?
For a few good reasons. First, when writing travel stories, I try to support good people and promising projects: especially those who are just getting started or are in less fortunate countries than us, Americans and Europeans. Look at the pictures below: here are just two examples from the recent blog posts. The chef Nelito and his son opened a wonderful family restaurant in a village in the African nation of Sao Tome and Principe (read the story HERE). A young cheerful lady Eid (and her baby daughter) offer hospitality to backpackers from around the globe in a remote Laotian town, Nong Khiaw (read the story HERE).

Second reason is that I often help less experienced travelers who send me questions on “where” and “how” to travel. Yes, you can simply follow the stories on this blog, but I am also glad to assist you design your own, very personal adventure. Third, this blog is and ALWAYS will be non-commercialized and 100% clean of any paid advertising. But if you can pitch-in just a few dollars, this will help to offer you more stories about “off the beaten track” places.
